    Hello IV members!!!!


    I have recently obtained 3 years of H1B extension because my I-140 is approved and priority date is not current.

    Soon after, I interviewed and managed to land multiple offers....! Got totally frustrated on the job front and waiting for PD to be current.

    Questions:
    1. Can I apply for multiple transfers at the same time?
    2. Is PD portable, assuming employer doesn't withdraw I-140?
    3. If I lose PD, can labor app be filed for me by the new company, say 6 months from now?

    In general, I'm very concerned and would appreciate any help. If you know of good immigration lawyers, available for consultation, pls direct me to the website.

    I am not anti-Sigma either, but I do not believe anything the produce from a digital body perspective (no pun intended) is going to influence, or drive down Canon or Nikon pro body prices. Build quality and other features keep the C and N scads ahead.

    I have a nikon DSLR and was wondering if anyone out there is purchased a high speed CF card and noticed any improvement in stills?

    I have a scan dish 12X speed 512 card and was wondering if it is worht inventing in a lexar 512 40X speed?

    I had emailed the Murthy team on Friday. Today Mr Vasant Nayak from Murthy.com emailed me back with concerns since i had emailed him from yahoo and my name was not in the list of volunteers. I have given him Admin and Walden Pond's names and have emailed both Admin and Walden Pond to touch base with him.

    Murthy is a BIG source of traffic. He did say Murthy wud have to look a lot into us to put a link on their website. I request someone from the Board to pls get in touch with Mr Vasant Nayak. If you need his email pls send me a private message (as i dont want him getting spammed) ;)

    Hi,

    I am a July 2007 filer (EB3 India). In the coming weeks, my employer is opening up senior position in different states and has encouraged existing employees to apply.

    If my employer is open to offering me a job for the new position, (and process a EB2 PERM/I-140 for the new position) what would be my option with the existing I-485.

    Is it recommended to keep the existing I-485 as is an file a new one? Or should the existing one be updated with the new I-140 (EB2) when that gets approved? How does it affect AC21 portability if existing I-485 is updated.

    Hi

    Spouse currently on EAD travelling on AP.
    Her H1 is expiring soon.

    Will there be any issues while comming back to USA if the H1 gets expired?
    (not interested in maintaining the H1 as she is not primary)

    Thanks - I took this walking along a railroad bed that is no longer in use. I must have chased 10 of these things around before I finally got this one that would hold still long enough to get a descent shot.

    When exporing new oppty's via AC21 with companies:

    is it Ok to share copy of one's 140 or 485 document copies?

    approval notice copies should be ok (check with company's HR if in doubt). However supporting financial/planning documents of a company may not be ok (that kind of stuff could be confidential to the company)

    Hi Friends,

    My EAD expires in the mid of August.I am planning to go india at last week of July.I thought of applying for EAD renewal now.But my lawer said it is always preferrable that the candidate must present in US while processing EAD renewal.Is it ok if I apply for renewal after I come back from India.By that time,My EAD already expires.Will it be a problem If I apply for renewal after expiry of current EAD.I am currently on H1B visa and I am not using EAD status now.If it is a problem,I will postpone my India trip.

    Hi There,

    I need some advice on my current situation.I am in the 4th year of my H1-B .I have my
    I-140 approved from my current employer with PD of Aug'09.

    I am planning to change my job, my concern is :

    Assuming that my current employer do not revoke/recall my I-140

    1. Do i need to have the same job responsibilities in my new job to transfer my PD?
    2. Do i have to stick with my current employer for atleast 6 months to transfer my PD?
    3. What will happen if i change employer within 6 months, can i still be able to get my PD?
    4. Will employers provide approval of I-140 ?
