I have two different I-94's, since during one of the extension i was in india.
i am on h4 visa
In the expired visa the I-94 is until 04/10/2006 ----------34786387997(I-94 number)
01/21/2005 until 10/09/2007 --------- 92809896930(I-94 number)
10/10/2007 until 06/02/2008 --------- 34786387997(I-94 number)

Hello,
Got H1B this year via consultant,valid from Oct 1st to 2010. Applied for AOS(dervative) and got EAD, AP and I-485 receipt notice by Oct end. So I think my status is AOS now.
I haven't been put on project yet.
Planning to travel next month using AP.
On return I plan to find another job using EAD.
I wanted to know if and how using AP to re-enter effects H1B status.
Also will this "bench" period effect GC processing in anyway?

Also i would appreciate if gurus could suggest what documents to carry to show at POE, along with AP.

Thought this might be helpful to those who are planning to travel. You fill in your nationality, country of residence, destination country and connecting country and it will give your transit visa requirements in detail.

Company A has filed my 485/EAD/AP. I am planning to change company B on AC21 after 180 days. Can I use AP which is filed by company A, for travel purpose after switching to Company B?

Yes it is pretty much recognised for h1b purpose or for any other purpose whatsoever. I got my first h1b approval on the basis of my MBA from IGNOU.

Hi giveit,
The background is easy, find a picture that you like, add it to a layer temporarily, draw over the main areas ie doors walls windows etc then go back and fil in those areas with colour, then delete the layer with the pic on.
As for the man walking its a bit more complicated, I may be able to help out, Which direction is he walking ie Diagonally, vertically,
up, down etc.
Let me know and i'll see what I can do.

Here is my situation. greatly aprecite if you could give some suggestions.
I am presently on Non-cap H1b(which is not counted under cap). I am planning to file for H1b thru an employer in april under MS quota with a start date of octber 2008.
My concerns are...
1. How should the new employer file H1b so that I can join at my wish after oct 2008...??
2. My present H1b is valid untill 2010. SHould I be in US while filing and untill my new H1b is approved..??? I ahve plans of visisitng india in March/aprial. So wondering If i need to visit and be back before april or is it ok to travel while my new H1b is filed using the presnet i-94..?? that is trvelling sometime In april/May..???

Need advice ...I am currently on H1 B.
six years back (on F-1) I started working 2 business days prior to my CPT started.... Unfortunately ... that meant I did work unauthorized for a couple of days. Now I am at a stage where I need to use CPT experience to apply for PERM. Would stating the actual start date on form 9089 (which happens to be 2 days prior to actual CPT start date listed on I 20) pose any future issues?
CAn I be granted lineancy (something like 245K) if in in future this lapse becomes evident to U S C I S. How seriously would this minor violation be treated?

My PERM was filed during July 2008 and got audited. I've got my H1B 7th year extension up to Dec 2010 (including recapture time). Now what will happen if my PERM is denied say on March 2010?
Should I leave the country immediately on March 2010 or Can I stay in US till H1B validity i.e. Dec 2010?

My I-485 was filed this July. My wife and I got FP notices for Nov 20. But my wife is currently in India and I will be in India too on Nov 20. So we will have to reschedule at least for my wife.
My question is, has anyone who filed their I-485 after July 2 rescheduled their FP appt and got a new appt date? I'm in the San Jose area.

I am currently working on H1B visa. I also had an EAD which expired 2 months back & I applied for renewal of the EAD last month. I am at the risk of being laid off by my current employer & they will withdraw my H1B if that happens. Here are my queries-
(1) If I lose my H1 status & my EAD approval is still pending, what do I need to do? If I am unable to find a new H1B sponsor, will I have to leave US immediately?
(2) Will my H1 cancellation have any effect on my EAD & AP renewal petition?
(3) Can I return to US & work after my AP & EAD are approved?
(4) If my EAD approval happens before my H1B visa is revoked, can I legally stay & work in US on the basis of ONLY the EAD?

My cousin from India has a BCOM degree and he is filing for a H1 B visa.
He just heard from his lawyer 2 days ago that his credit evaluation was needed and he had to get experience letters for atleast 3 years of work ex.
He gave it to his lawyer and now they tell him that they will submit his application without the evaluation! They said that once an inquiry comes if it even does then we will submit the evaluation.
Is that ok??? or should he be submitting the evaluation with the application. I am concerned but I guess it too late now.

My husband and I are in a big Dilemma whether to apply for EAD or AP? In the lawyer's note,it says that anyone who is I-140 Beneficiary will not be able to use EAD and AP. Is it true?
We are on our 3 years H1/H4 using I-140 benefits only. What should we do?
Please guide us.
We still have 3 years remaining. Problem - We both have no visa stamping after we got our extentions which why AP is required at this point?
Are there any travel restrictions after we file I-1485 with AP or WITHOUT AP.
Please highlight. Will be very useful for us.
