Other than name check are there any other stuff we should be aware of to get the green card.
With this new 180 day rule can I get my GC even if my Namecheck is not complete in 180 days. Is so once my PD is current and my 485 application has crossed the processing times can i go ahead and demand (please note demand) my green card or should i just leave it to luck and keep waiting hoping i will get it soon. sorry for sounding so sorrowful but the process seems to be very happazard.
any one with info please let meknow. thanks in advance

I need an advice.
Last year, I petitioned for my husband to get his green card and I was in a rush to get the application in before the application fee shot up, so I forgot to make copies of all the documents being sent to USCIS. Now, the interview is next week and I don't have a few of the documents that they want us to bring. It says that if already submitted, I don't have to bring in those documents, but I've heard that sometimes the interviewers still demands them during the interview.
Is there any way of getting the documents from USCIS or is it lost forever?
We will have the interview next Thursday, 21st of February.

My wife came to the US on a H4. She got her H1 approval in October 07 and started working for the consulting firm that sponsered the H1. She also got a consulting position in a company. But her SSN was not issued until Jan 08. So the consulting company cannot gerenate payroll for Oct, Nov and Dec of 2007. We are planning to goto India in May and also get our Visas stamped. Any ideas on whether we will run into problems when we go for stamping, since she will not have a W2 for 07. Also will the paystubs from 2008 suffice at the consulate? Do we have to tell the consulate that she started working in Oct 07 or can we just say she started in Jan 08 will this create a problem of why did she not strat working as soon as her petition was approved in 07.

I would like to invite you to visit our web site, http://www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com (http://www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com/). This site is currently the only site written by a professional camera repairman on the subject of cleaning the sensors in digital SLR Cameras. As a matter of fact, this is written by the camera repair industries most published author Larry Lyells.
This site discusses the methods used in-house by all manufacturers, versus what they want the consumer using. Also covered is how to make your own tools and multiple resources to obtain others. I could go on and on about the site but a visit to www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com (http://www.cleaningdigitalcameras.com/) will show you everything.<O:p</O:p
